Vintage Designs By Wanda, LLC (VxW) is a minority owned creative arts and decor business operated by Wanda Pittman.  Wanda is a native Atlantan and attended DeKalb County Schools.  She also did her undergraduate studies at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA.  As a result of following her true passion in life for creating beautiful works of art, Wanda has launched her own business, Vintage Designs By Wanda, LLC.  One of the essential goals of Vintage Designs By Wanda is to produce works of art that are unique, classic, exquisitely beautiful and of great quality.  The works of art created by Wanda are truly a site for the eyes to behold!  As the artistic 'creator, Wanda gives specific care and attention to the elements of art and principals of design.  According to Wanda "Specific to my creations, meaning three dimensional (3D) designs or in the-round forms, I use shapes that can be geometric, organic/natural, or irregular".  In her creations, she refers to the spectrum of reflected or absorbsed light.  She believes that color in her work adds interest and mood to her creations.  As for texture, she gives extra attention to how something feels or looks if one could touch the artwork.  She uses the element of form in most of her creations that are 3-dimensional and also includes balance to distribute the visual weight of objects, colors, textures, and space.  Her works also contain proportion, rhythm, variety and unity.  She seeks to create one or more elements of design used repeatedly to create a feeling of organized movement.  Equally important to her work is holding the viewer's attention and to guide the viewer's eye through and around the work of art to create a sense of harmony and peacefulness.
