Sanders Chapel Church of Christ is a spirit filled ministry that is located in Kinston, North Carolina.  Dr. Thurman Sanders is the Senior Pastor of Sanders Chapel Church of Christ and he is assisted in the ministry by first Lady Rose Sanders and Elder Sylvia Barker and Elder Barbar Clark.  Sanders Chapel is deeply and firmly rooted in the community.  Our mission and our goal is to win souls for Christ.  Sanders Chapel was founded by Dr. Sanders in 1976 and has served the community faithfully since that time.    

On a personal note, Dr. Sanders and First Lady Rose Sanders have been married for 57 years.  They have seven children, 30 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.  Dr. Sanders also has a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from the Apex School of Theology.  Family and community are very important to Dr. Sanders and First Lady Rose Sanders.  Please come out and join us at Sanders Chapel Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ for a spirit filled worship service.  We are located at 1105 Hicks Avenue, Kinston, North Carolina 28501.  We look forward to seeing you and sharing the blessings of the Lord with you!
